| 12.3.79 - 2.8.05 Jeffrey S. Henthorn was born on 3 Dec 79 in Oklahoma City, Ok. He died 8 Feb 05 in Balat, Iraq. In 1982 we moved to Choctaw, Ok. on acerage where Jeffrey was raised, he had a normal life of school, fishing, playing soccer and most thing boys do including playing army. When he was 17, a junior in high school, he joined the Okla. Army National Guard, in which he served 6 years, then joined the regular army in March of 03. He was sent to Iraq to the 24th Trans Co., where he served a tour and returned in Mar 05 to Ft. Riley KS. He was sent back to Iraq 26 Dec. 05. We joined him for Christmas not knowing it would be his last. He left two sons, Chance 7 years old and Brenden 5 at the time Jeffrey was lost. Jeffrey was a third generation Henthorn soldier, but if I have my way, there will be no fourth generation Henthorn soldiers. Warren L.
